Hostage: The player can come across a group of Mongol soldiers that has captured a villager, with one soldier attempting to intimidate the villager.The player can also loot the cart, as there is a chest at the front end of it that offers decent loot. Four to six Mongol soldiers will protect the cart, and once defeated will award the player minor Legend gain. Cargo Cart: At certain points of the road, most particularly at forks in the road, a group of Mongols will be protecting a cargo cart.Players receive minor Legend gain from killing a group. Patrols in the field will be fewer in numbers, ranging from two to five enemies, and much more spread out than road patrols but most of them are on horseback. Patrols along the road can be as small as a pair, up to eight soldiers, with at least a third of them riding horses. Patrols: A group of Mongol soldiers can be found either patrolling along a road or out in an open field.The activities they partake in is listed below, together with the troop size that they will be found in and the rewards offered by taking them down: Troop size ranges from as few as a pair to as large as 8 soldiers, with varying compositions. Throughout the game, Jin will encounter groups of Mongol soldiers that partake in certain activities. They are used both for random event spawns and designated enemies during most Tales. As such, they appear throughout the entire game, from the very beginning of the Prologue all the way into the post-game. Once you’ve cleared all the fog in Tsushima’s northern territory, you can freely explore the entire area to find its collectible locations.The Mongol Soldiers are the dominant force seen throughout Tsushima island. There are 15 locations to liberate in Kamigata. Our Ghost of Tsushima map below will show you every location you need to liberate from Mongol control to clear out Kamiagata. If you’ve already liberated all of Izuhara and Toyotama, then you’ll get two Trophies for this area and the Master Liberator Trophy which you receive for liberating the entire island. Liberating all of Kamiagata will lift the fog of war surrounding the area, opening up the northern region to reveal a significant chunk of places to find like haiku locations, fox dens, and more. The final area of the game will still keep you plenty busy before and after you finish the campaign. Ghost of Tsushima’s northern region, Kamiagata, has 15 areas to liberate from Mongol control.
